I'm married to a brilliant, hard-working man who does a wonderful job of providing for us and accepts me as I am...warts and all, as I like to say. We have a delightful daughter -our one and only. She's growing up beautifully, and much too fast, of course.
I've got a pretty sweet life. I also have a raging urge to create that sometimes trumps my list of mundane chores. I was raised with the rule: Chores first, fun when you're done. Great rule. Unless you're a mom. Chores are never "done" even when you've done them. Sometimes, chores need to be ignored in order to preserve the spark that makes you...well, you. Plus, I never expected to be a stay-at-home (work-from-home) mom so my skills are a little, um, lacking.
